On payoffs at the BOC:
“Pag tinotal ng brokers ang kanilang lagay outside what they are paying officially, meaning papunta sa gobyerno plus extra expenses na legal like shipping, trucking, broker’s fee, lahat, pag inano doon on top of that, may P27k pa na inilalaan sa iba’t ibang opisina. Yan ang basis ng computation.”

On response to new security threats:
“In terms of legislation, we’re willing to help. Like increasing the troop ceiling ng AFP at ng PNP. Kasi alam din naman natin ang troops in Marawi could be battle-weary already. Kasi ang description nga ng president, they’re all bone-weary now. Parang pagod na pagod na, kasi imagine more than 2 months na sila nakikipagbakbakan doon, relyebuhan nga sila. But then they go back even after being wounded. They still volunteer to go back.“

On new threats as described by President Duterte during a meeting in Malacanang:
“It was supposed to be a tete-a-tete, at the same time parang humingi ng tulong ang president na suportahan nyo ako rito kasi may bagong threat na lumabas. And when it’s the commander-in-chief who says may new threats, we better believe him because ang sources of intelligence info niya marami di ba? So we did not question anymore. We did not ask for details anymore. Suffice to hear from him na may threat. And it’s enough for us to pledge support in terms of ma-improve ang security natin.”
