Ping: Mayor Vico, Maliwanag na Tanglaw vs Korapsiyon

Sinaluduhan ni Senador Panfilo Lacson ang pagkakapili kay Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto bilang isa sa 12 personalidad na tinukoy bilang “International Anticorruption Champions” ng US State Department.

Ang pagsaludo kay Mayor Sotto ay isiniwalat ni Lacson sa pamamagitan ng Twitter.

“The bright beacon of the land,” saad ni Lacson na tumutukoy kay Mayor Sotto.

Ipinaalala din ni Lacson na dapat magtaglay ng seryoso at matapang na kampanya laban sa korapsiyon ang mga umuusbong na maaring maging susunod na lider ng bansa.

“At least we have good reason not to give up hoping for our beloved country. As one very successful businessman recently told me – for the longest time, our country is like a boat full of holes that doesn’t sink only because we keep bailing the water out. Nobody has thought of bringing it to a dry dock for repairs,” dugtong pa ni Lacson.

Una sa pahayag na ito ay naibalitang kasali si Mayor Sotto sa 12 inbidbudwal na na kinilala ng US State Department sa bagong lunsad na programang “International Anticorruption Champions Award.”

Binigyan ng pagkilala ng naturang gawad-parangal ang mga walang pagod na nagpapatupad ng transaparency, lumalaban sa korapsiyon at umaako sa pananagutan bilang lider sa mga bansang kinabibilangan.

  2. This is the type of leader we need these days. Idealistic, energetic and have a big heart to serve his constituents in conformity with his Oath of Office. May His tribe increases by the day to defeat the present rotten culture of government service. Likewise, kudos to your anti-corruption program and action. I salute you Mr. Senator.
