The Lacson-Sotto tandem and some senatorial bets visited various areas in Laguna on Feb. 22, 2022. Their schedule included market tours in Sta. Cruz, Calamba and Biñan; a town-hall event at Santo Angel Sur; call on top provincial officials; and a tour of UPLB Biotech. With them were senatoriables Minguita Padilla, Guillermo Eleazar, Manny Piñol, Gringo Honasan and JV Ejercito.

‘Not so Bad’ Just Not Good Enough: DICT Should Aim for ‘Excellent’ Internet Connection

With all due respect to a highly regarded Cavalier and distinguished former Senate colleague, “not so bad” may sound worse than “not so good.”

In the middle of a pandemic when the order of the day is virtual communication, what we want to hear, at least realistically, is “good enough.”

Of course, it goes without saying, “very good” or even “excellent” is what we all want to hear from DICT. Clearly, there is much room for improvement.
