To Rappler: We wish to disabuse the minds of your readers of the malicious claims made by Vergel Santos against Sen. Panfilo M. Lacson in his Oct. 8 “opinion piece” – where among other things, he cited Sen. Lacson’s sponsorship of what is now the Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020 to bolster his accusation that the Senator helped further President Rodrigo Duterte’s “authoritarian designs.”

Letter to the Editor: Reply to Walden Bello [Rappler]

To Rappler: We wish to set the record straight regarding the claim made by Walden Bello in his opinion article “De Lima vs Duterte duel enters critical phase,” posted Aug. 15, 2021 – where he supposedly quoted Sen. Leila de Lima as accusing Sen. Panfilo M. Lacson of being among the supposed “enablers and conspirators” of President Rodrigo Duterte.
