Senate Approves Philippine ID System Bill on Second Reading

After the period of interpellation, the Senate approved on second reading the Philippine ID System (National ID) bill. Sen. Lacson, the bill’s sponsor, answered questions from Senate President Koko Pimentel, Senate President Pro Tempore Ralph Recto, and Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian.

Dear Sir, proposed national ID system must be implemented very soon, in other countries like here in saudi arabia, we have what they called IQAMA, (residence identity) for expats, link to our iqama (numbers) are all government agencies including banks and our sim cards. any traffic violations, bank transactions (credit/debit) was automatically being text to us, Hope it will be the same.
