Senator-Judge Panfilo “Ping” M. Lacson on Friday questioned the reported sales and taxable income of two companies linked to Vice President Sara Duterte-Carpio, seeking a Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) review of their tax records to see if their tax liabilities were correctly computed.
Lacson asked the BIR to reconcile GenCorp Industries Inc.’s reported total sales of P520,670,653 in 2025 with its reported tax payments of P777,093 amid an authorized capital stock of P5 million, and net income after tax of P3,057,535.
