Opening Prayer at the Senate Regular Session | March 8, 2021

“God Almighty, on this International Women’s Day, we pray for all the women in the world and the roles that they play for all humanity.
“Not only do we see in them the image of Thy Mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary, but also the beauty of her compassion and eternal love.
“Grant us Thy mercy and wisdom to respect and protect the weak against the wickedly strong as we walk unto Your path of righteousness and glory.
This we ask in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ. Amen.”

Opening Prayer at the Senate Regular Session | Dec. 15, 2020

“Heavenly Father, to Thee glory is sung in the highest.
“We come unto Thy loving heart, pierced by our ingratitude and sins. Lift those who sit in distress and in darkness.
“Guide us in the path of Thee for the fulfillment of Thy greater glory.
“All this we ask in the name of the strong deliverer, our only Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.”

“In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.”

Opening Prayer for the Senate Regular Session

“In thee, God of our delight, we stand in Thy presence as we praise Your holiness.
“Let no evil this day soil anybody’s thoughts, words and hands. Let no hearts be conformed to lying vanities.
