Which of the four types of candidates will Filipinos choose on Election Day?

Former Senator and 2025 senatorial candidate Panfilo “Ping” M. Lacson raised this question late Friday as he said any hope for the nation will depend on who they will choose.

“The question: is there hope for our country? The answer: The answer lies in your hands,” Lacson said in Filipino at the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas senatorial slate’s rally in Antipolo City.

At a Glance: The Process of the Senate’s Relocation

On Nov. 21, 2017, 14 senators voted for the transfer of the Senate from Pasay City to Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.  This was after Sen. Lacson delivered a sponsorship speech for the Senate’s relocation.
