Lacson to Cayetano: Don’t Worry, You’re Not Alone in Flood Control Mess

Sen. Panfilo “Ping” M. Lacson on Wednesday assured Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano that he is not alone in facing scrutiny over anomalous flood control projects.

Lacson said Cayetano, who has insisted that flood control projects in other parts of the country be investigated, is only one of several who have been detained, posted bail, or are being probed over the issue.

Lacson: PRA Finds 13 Titles Covering Unauthorized Encroachment on Laguna Lake from Taguig

Updated information from the Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA) shows at least 13 titles covering areas totaling 170 hectares of unauthorized encroachment on the Taguig side of Laguna Lake, Sen. Panfilo “Ping” M. Lacson said Saturday.

Lacson said the PRA update, based on vetted digital and satellite maps, showed some of the titled areas remain underwater.

Lacson Debunks Cayetanos’ ‘Selective Justice’ and ‘Intimidation’ Claims: If You Throw Stones, Be Ready to Defend Yourself

Sen. Panfilo “Ping” M. Lacson on Saturday rejected the claims of “selective justice” and “intimidation” made by Senators Alan Peter and Pilar Juliana Cayetano, challenging them to confront instead the issues raised against them.

Lacson said that when false charges were thrown at him during the Arroyo administration, he faced the accusations head-on by defending himself in the proper forums.

Lacson: Consistent in Low Tolerance for Corruption, Will Keep Hounding the Corrupt

Sen. Panfilo “Ping” M. Lacson has maintained a consistently low tolerance for corruption throughout his public service – and will not let up in hounding the corrupt.

Lacson reiterated this Thursday as he continues to flag irregularities in the proposed 2027 budget measure, along with corruption behind “ghost” flood control and other infrastructure projects.
